Two-wheeler used in murder of Suvendu aide traced to Burnpur address
Police have seized the two-wheeler allegedly used by the assailants in the murder of Chandranath Rath, personal assistant to Suvendu Adhikari.
A taxi driver was allegedly shot in his forehead in South East Delhi’s Badarpur on Sunday morning, and is in a critical condition, police said.

However, the cops are also scanning the CCTV footage from across the area, and the details of the suspects are being verified.

The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Gautam Saini, a resident of Garhi Bazidpur village in Gurugram, who works as a cab driver.
According to an official, the call regarding the incident was received at around 6 am from a private hospital, where the victim was rushed following the gunshot injury.
The Station House Officer (SHO), and the investigating officer, along with police staff, rushed to the private hospital and found the victim in an unconscious state, who was later shifted to the AIIMS trauma centre.
The medical condition of the victim is critical, but stable, the official added.
The concerned teams have been engaged by the police, while the facts and circumstances of the matter are being examined from different angles by the cops. The police are investigating the reason behind the firing incident, while legal action is also underway in the matter.
